Yasir Iqbal was born in the Indian-Administered part of Kashmir-the land that was once called as the paradise on earth by the Mughal emperor Jahangir.
After graduated in Tourism, he took up odd jobs, but his passion for photography made him finally quit his job in 2007 at the age of 29.He always observed his surroundings and tried to compose the frames taking his time.
A strong believer in the visual medium, he took up photography professionally in 2008 and started working at a Local Daily in the valley.
His niche lies in working with people and he thoroughly enjoys Portraiture and street photography. Currently working for Fortune India, as a Principal Photographer based in New Delhi. He believes in working on stories that are thought provoking to create an impact for change in the society.
